Lindy Scott is an amazing photographer! I am currently a senior and so far I have had four senior sessions with her. I met her two years ago as my photographer teacher, but even before then I admired her pictures. My favorite session by far has to be when I traveled to Chicago with her and my best friend for some unforgettable senior pictures. I also have another session coming up in about a month and we are traveling to Minnesota to take pictures once again with my best friend! It is amazing to have a photographer so excited and willing to take days out of her life to capture special moments of your own life! She makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera and makes the session one you will never forget. Lindy has always been a wonderful teacher, photographer, friend, and role model. I am so glad that I chose her to take my senior pictures!

Lindy sat in my living room 7 years ago and we talked about our dreams and our futures. Hers was photography and, since that evening, I have watched her grow and perfect her craft. Our senior portrait experience with Lindy was amazing. She made my son feel very comfortable getting his pictures taken which is hard to do. She went above and beyond taking numerous pictures in different settings. She even included our family in several pictures. I have been working with Lindy Scott for three and a half years for our family photos. She has such a quick artistic eye and catches beautiful pictures when least expected. Affordable. Impressive. Fun. These are the top three words I think of when I think about Lindy Scott’s photography business. All three of which are very important words when it comes to looking for someone to do your senior pictures. My mom of course wanted someone affordable, and I wanted someone impressive. Lindy provides both with her various, reasonable packages and stunning end results. The fun part was just an added bonus!
I was initially introduced to Lindy’s photographs when my friend, Madisyn, showed me her senior pictures that were done by Lindy. I loved how natural the photographs looked and the different posing she had Madisyn do. After looking into Lindy’s business more, my mom and I were sold and booked my senior session!
From there, I chose to go downtown. (there are not many places that let you chose where you want your pictures taken or they will charge you extra). When I chose to go downtown, as I will be going to IUPUI in the fall so it only seemed fitting, Lindy instantly had four places in mind that she suggested. I loved all the places she chose; each had their own, unique feel. When the day came, we luckily had wonderful weather. Well, it was cold, but that didn’t stop me or Lindy! The first thing that impressed me that day was how quickly she jumped into the shoot. She just had all these poses and ideas in mind, and started snapping away. It was so helpful when told me and showed me how to pose. I didn’t have to think of any poses myself; they were all from her creative mind! With that being said, she relieved any stress and nerves I had for my session. Along the way, she gave compliments and showed me some of the shots which just got me more excited to see the final product.
I am absolutely in love with my senior pictures and couldn’t have asked for a better experience with someone I didn’t even know!

Lindy has an uncanny ability to catch the “perfect” moment on a photo. She is helpful during photo sessions, not rushing or pushing to hurry. She seems to realize that the sessions should be a fun event for everyone involved. This helps to make great pictures!
